In <span class="application">gThumb</span>, you can cause an image to open in <acronym class="acronym">GIMP</acronym> either by right-clicking on the icon and selecting <acronym class="acronym">GIMP</acronym> from among the list of options, or by dragging the icon into the GIMP toolbox.
